Proposal Submission Guidelines
The conference takes place on October 5th, 6th, and 7th this year. Live content will be presented between 8am and 6pm Eastern Daylight Time.
All content will be presented in English via the Whova online events platform. This enables us to accept submissions from across the English-speaking world to present to an audience that spans the globe.
Our conference is a collaborative academic, lived experience, and community event. Professional continuing education (available for credit in the U.S.*) is open to all attendees including Transgender and Gender Diverse (TGD) community members and their caregivers who can register to attend the entire conference at no cost.
We will consider all submissions and will give preference to fresh ideas and proposals by or that include and elevate the voices of TGD people.
If your proposal does not fully fit into our current structure, please reach out to our team to discuss this further and we will try to accommodate you if possible.
We would love to specifically see submissions related to:
Behavioral Health (including autism and other co-occurring mental health diagnoses, impact of the current political climate, peer-support, support in schools, supporting spouses and parents, etc.)
Medical (aging and elder care, culturally competency, care in rural locations, gender affirmation, novel medical therapies, menstrual management, surgical techniques, surgical complication management, physical and occupational therapy, voice and communication, etc.)
Lived Experience (panels sharing their experience of specific interventions or procedures, finding and connecting with community, navigating legal document changes, etc.)
Notably, we do discourage the following:
